The aim of the project is to develop and introduce in the Secretariat-General of the Government an aggregator of multidisciplinary statistical data, which will translate into the rigorous, objective support of decision-making processes and strategic documents in central and local administration.
The aim of the project will be operationalized through the following specific objectives:
- Creating a coherent system of 100 relevant indicators for measuring Romania’s level of development
- Building the online data aggregator The State of the Nation – an online data base which will integrate statistical data collected since 1990 by various institutions (public data available for 1990-2015 and afterwards)
- Periodically generating sociological data on public perception (barometers of opinion)
- Strengthening the applicant’s institutional capacity
- Implementing a training program for using the online data aggregator The State of the Nation and the research results, aimed at future users (local and central administration staff)
